Coats for Kids Project 2008 - Four Seasons Cleaners and the Rotary Club of Ventura collaborate to implement The Coats for Kids Project. December 2008 represents the fifth year of this project.

The Derby Club is located in the Ventura County Fairgrounds, Seaside Park. Great surf break just downcoast from the Ventura River. A special place. Join us.
The site now features the beginning of a documented history of our Club. Founded as an unchartered Rotary Club on June 12, 1918, with the help of the Santa Barbara Rotary Club, we became one of the first Clubs in California. We were chartered by Rotary International less than a year later. Check out the May 16, 1919 Charter Session handout, the first item in our Downloads section of this home page. There are also downloads of representative documents from the 1920's through the 1960's. The picture is of the Athene Club, our meeting place in the 1920's.
